While running it, expand the “Advanced” option and make sure the “App repairs automatically” is checked.

You will be asked if you are facing problem while installing or uninstalling. Make your selection and proceed. You may also be asked to pick a program that is having problems. Select Not listed since you won’t find Skype now and proceed. The tool will scan your system for possible problems and fix them automatically.

3] Reinstall Skype

Download the latest Skype setup from the Microsoft website and install it. The installation is expected to go through smoothly now.
